Former Representatives of the United States Virgin Islands to the United States House of Representatives

Guam and the United States Virgin Islands were both granted and have had a delegate in the United States House of Representatives since 1973.

1973 – 1979: T.H. Ron de Lugo (D)

Congressman de Lugo served in the 93rd, 94th and 95th Sessions of Congress. After stepping down for one term, he served again for another 6 terms.

1979 – 1981: T.H. Melvin Evans (R)

Congressman Evans served one term in the 96th Session of Congress.

1981 – 1995: T.H. Ron de Lugo (D)

Congressman de Lugo served 3 terms from 1973-1979 and then another 6 consecutive terms in the 97th, 98th, 99th, 100th, 101st, 102nd and 103rd Sessions of Congress.

1995 – 1997: T.H. Victor Frazer

Congressman Frazer served one term in the 104th Session of Congress.

1997 – present: T.H. Donna Christian-Christensen (D)

Congresswoman Christian-Christensen has served 5 consecutive terms in the the U.S. House of Representatives since the beginning of 1997 for the 105th, 106th, 107th , 108th, and 109th Sessions of Congress.  She was most recently reelected in 2006 and has begun her 6th term, in the 110th Congress, which begins in 2007 and ends in 2009.
