In November 2011 Ms. Maria Clark joined the U.S. Department of the Interior's (DOI) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) as the Director of the Information Technology Transformation Office (ITTO).Maria currently serves as the OCIO's Chief Management Officer (CMO) with specific responsibility for the ITTO, Customer Relationship Management, Performance Management, Strategic Communications, and OCIO Portfolio Management.Throughout her time with DOI Maria has also served as the Interior Business Center's (IBC) Chief Information Security Officer and Acting Associate Director of the Customer Support Center.

Prior to joining DOI, Maria gained extensive experience in the private and public sectors including 15 years with the Internal Revenue Service in Division level positions for IRS's taxpayer assistance and automated collection service programs.Her private sector experience includes 8 years with the telecommunications service provider, Qwest Telecommunications, Inc., as a Director of Information Technology for wholesale and residential billing.
Maria's experience spans program management, IT security, software integration, technical infrastructure design, business development, budget management, and product development with a strong track record for moving programs from the initial engagement cycle to post-production support for commercial and public sector organizations.Maria holds multiple certifications including: the Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP), International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc., (ISC)² Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Certification and Accreditation Professional (CAP) as well as The Balanced Scorecard Institute's Balanced Scorecard Professional(BSP).
Maria resides outside of Denver, Colorado with her husband and three children.
