MPC

DOI Hardware Contract Category awarded: Monitors, Telecommuter Standard Laptop, Traveler Tablet

Contract Number: L05PC90430 (Notebooks) and L05PC90137 (Monitors)

MPC has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Further guidance on the status of the MPC contracts is pending. If you have an outstanding warranty or oder, please report them using the instructions below.

MPC still has certain rights under Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and we are still working with the solicitors office to verify the status of the contracts. Please check with your financial officials *before* re-ordering with another vendor with funds accrued from FY08. We strongly encourage you to wait until we have a final determination from the solicitors and the contracting officer for the MPC contracts. Once we have final resolution as to the status of the contracts, we will have guidance on how to re-order from another vendor for similar product.

Failure to handle accrued FY08 funds properly can lead to the loss of those funds - so please check with your finance officials or wait for further guidance.
