Deployments--Map to an Instance

After you enter location node and processing node data, you are ready to map the server to a system component instance.

Open the mapping window

In DEAR's Encyclopedia Browser, expand “Definitions”. Scroll down to “SYSTEMS_” and expand that. Expand the system and subsystem you want, and double-click on the system component instance.

You will get this window:

Processing Nodes  

If the processing nodes haven't been entered yet, this box will be grayed out. Click on the Choices button to drag and drop from the list of processing nodes. You can read more about the standard buttons used in this box
