This series of windows lets you create a new tech spec to map in the Edit TRM Mappings screen.
Enter the name of the new tech spec in this window, then click on "Add". If your entry doesn't sound like any other spec in DEAR, another window will open to let you put in a version and description. But if your entry is close to the name of a spec already in DEAR, a version of the Find window comes up.
If your entry is close to the name of a spec already in DEAR, this window comes up and does a search for similar names. (For more on how this window works, read about the regular Find window.) Look through the list to make sure you are not duplicating another tech spec. If you are sure this is a new entry, click "Add Now" to go on to the following window where you can enter details about the tech spec.
The new tech spec will always start out with the classification of "Pending". During the next governance cycle it will be reclassified as "Preferred", "Contained", or "Obsolete".
The Name field is automatically filled in from the previous window. You can leave the version as "NA", but you must enter a description of the tech spec.
This button saves your new tech spec and returns you Edit TRM Mappings screen. You will get a confirmation window reminding you that after saving, you won't be able to edit it until it has been reviewed and accepted.
This button returns you to the Edit TRM Mapping screen without saving your work.

"Save" and "Cancel" will both take you back to the Edit TRM Mappings screen.
