As Secretary of the Interior it is my honor to wish each and every one of you and your families a very happy holiday season. This is a time really to reflect on those things that are most important to life. And for all of us the work we do at the Department of the Interior is about protecting and preserving our planet, and using our planet and its resources wisely. We are blessed to have 70,000+ people at the Department of the Interior who carry out their mission bravely every day, ensuring that the United States' Department of the Interior serves as a custodian of America's natural resources and America's natural heritage. I'm so proud of the work we have done over the last four years, including all of our work on "all of the above" energy, including oil and gas and renewable energy...the work we've done on behalf of the Nation's First Americans, and the great work that we have done on conservation and recreation from sea to shining sea. You are the stars of this department, and I am forever proud and blessed to celebrate this holiday season in celebration of all of you.
