Secretary Salazar to Meet with Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue, Tour Areas Previously Affected by Drought, Visit Martin Luther King Site

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27, 2009, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will meet with Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue, tour areas of the state previously affected by drought conditions and hold a media availability with the Governor. Later that morning, Secretary Salazar will tour the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site and hold a media availability.

Media: Credentialed media are invited to join news media availability at 9:45 a.m.

Media: Credentialed media are invited to join the tour. The media availability will begin at 11:30 a.m.
on the front lawn of the peach and green home adjacent to Dr. King's Birth Home, 501 Auburn
