It's a source of drinking water for more than 22 million people, supports a $28 billion agricultural industry and is a critical habitat for several species. Deputy Secretary of the Interior David Hayes is leading federal efforts, in partnership with the State and stakeholders, to help restore the Delta and to build a sustainable water future for California.
