Secretaries Salazar and Chu Convene Meeting on Strengthening Deepwater Blowout Containment Capabilities

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Secretary of Energy Steven Chu convened top U.S. government scientists, key industry and stakeholder leaders to discuss how to strengthen capabilities for responding to potential blowouts of oil and gas wells in deepwaters on the Outer Continental Shelf.
