“Coal is being produced on those lands to create the electricity that many of those cities use, natural gas is being pumped from those fields to heat their homes in the winter, to make fertilizer for American farmers, to heat dryers that are drying the corn that’s producing the ethanol, so everybody in America has really got a stake out there even if they never do visit our lands or get out West.”
