“This new rule allows anyone at anytime to harass a wolf in a non-injurious manor. Essentially make wolves and keep wolves wild animals. We’re allowing property owners to kill wolves that are attacking their livestock or dogs on their private property without a permit. We’re allowing permitees on federal lands the opportunity to shoot and kill a wolf that’s attacking their livestock on their public land allotment. We’re offering the states and tribes, if there’s a confirmed and scientifically based problem with native elk and deer populations to actually remove some wolves to resolve that predation pressure.”
