Medical Surveillance/Health Promotions
SERVICES
- Medical Surveillance. Review various types of medical surveillance examinations such as, pre-employment physicals, fitness for duty examinations, tort claims, medical determinations for health benefits, etc. The examinations will be initially reviewed for completeness by the SEES nursing staff and forwarded to a board certified physician for final review and recommendations. The review will include a check for compliance with medical guidelines; review laboratory results for abnormalities (hearing, urine, spirometry); check the patient's medical history, etc., and provide the agency with a recommendation based on the medical expertise of the physician and SEES staff.
- Medical Records. Establish and maintain medical record systems. The systems will be in accordance with appropriate OPM regulations. Strict medical confidentiality of all information will be maintained.
- Health Promotions. Initiate and implement various types of health promotions for agencies. Examples would include Health Fairs, Blood Drives, Vaccination Programs, Health Screening Programs, etc.
