On April 6, 2007, Anne O'Brien and Sarah Bird-in-Ground (Pima) will provide a one-hour presentation at the Interior Museum on the American Indian arts and culture of Arizona, taking you on a journey similar to that in Anne O'Brien's recently released guide book, Traveling Indian Arizona, Westcliffe Publishers, 2006. Hosted by The Indian Craft Shop and the Interior Museum, the presentation will be in the Interior Museum from 12:00pm - 1:00pm followed by a book signing and opportunity to meet the guests from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at The Indian Craft Shop.
Arts and crafts of Arizona will be plentiful in the Shop with a special selection of work including basketry, pottery and shell work from the Pima and O'odham groups. Legends shared by Sarah Bird-in-Ground will help visitors connect the culture to the arts and traditions.
