Description

From planes, to boats, to automobiles—objects representing different modes of transportation require conservators to be mobile as the objects themselves. Join National Park Service textile conservator Anne Ennes and wooden artifacts conservator Curtis Sullivan as they recount some recent conservation projects. Be amazed by the treatment challenges they have tackled both in the conservation lab and in their journeys throughout the country.

Special Assistance - For those in need of special assistance (such as an interpreter for the hearing impaired) or inquiries regarding the accessible entrance, please notify museum staff at (202) 208-4743 in advance of the program. Special needs will be accommodated whenever possible.
