The Interior Business Center participates in a number of full-time intern programs (not to be confused with temporary student positions) through the Department of the Interior University (DOIU). DOIU's intern programs are two or three years in duration, depending on the particular program. As a participant in a DOIU-sponsored intern program, you are entitled to receive the same benefits our full-time Interior Business Center employees enjoy. Click here to learn more about our benefits package.
The intern programs provide a planned, systematic, competency-based approach to developing future leaders at all levels for the Department of the Interior. Upon successful completion of the program, assistance is provided in obtaining a permanent position. For further information regarding these opportunities, please visit DOIU's Intern website at https://doiu.doi.gov/.
