On August 6, 2013, The Interior Business Center's Financial Management Directorate hosted the annual Oracle Day, dedicated to Oracle Federal Financials (OFF) customers. The event took place in Washington, D.C., and was attended by representatives from 11 OFF customer agencies.
Main discussion topics included reporting challenges, Treasury updates, system enhancements, customer communication, Contract Lifecycle Management (integrated procurement), and fiscal activity. As a result of the meeting, attendees agreed to establish working groups to address a variety of challenges that are currently experienced in the financial management arena.
The Interior Business Center offers the OFF system for non-DOI customers through its Financial Management line of business. The IBC implements and maintains a pre-configured version of OFF that incorporates processes common to most federal agencies.
