Interior Business Center Hosts eTravel Demos
To support its customers in the migration to the next generation of the federal government's web-based travel management services, the Interior Business Center (IBC) recently hosted a day of demos in Washington, D.C. The two GSA awarded eTravel vendors, Carlson Wagonlit Sato Travel and Concur Technologies, provided demonstrations of their electronic travel systems second award/phase (ETS2) to current and potential eTravel clients.
IBC conducted these demo sessions in response to requests from customers, since many of them are currently evaluating their options for a travel system. Providing the back-to-back demos for multiple customers simultaneously allowed them to more efficiently compare and contrast the products. IBC videotaped the session in order to share this information with other prospective ETS2 customers.
IBC has supported eTravel initiatives for almost 20 years. The organization assists Department of the Interior m(DOI) and non-DOI customers in automating and consolidating travel processes. Currently, the IBC supports both GSA approved eTravel systems: Concur Government Edition (CGE) and E2 Solutions.
IBC hosted back-to-back demos for multiple customers simultaneously, allowing them to more efficiently compare and contrast the new generation of eTravel management systems.
IBC's eTravel Customer representative, Monique Beckham, supports several IBC customers, assisting them in automating and consolidating travel processes.
