Management and Budget, Office of the Secretary, Department of the Interior.

This Office is
responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards and systems for
effective utilization and management of the human resources needed to accomplish the overall
mission of the Department, with particular focus on achieving the Department's Diversity goals.
It is also committed to enhancing the Department's workforce now and in the future and to
increasing Interior's capability to compete for a fair share of the nation's workforce. The HRM
Office also provides a broad range of technical assistance, counseling and training on ethics and
conduct matters to all Department of the Interior employees in order to help managers and
employees identify and integrate ethical concerns into everyday management.
The HRM Office is made up of three individual offices; the Office of Personnel Policy, the
Office of Educational Partnerships and the Office of Ethics.
