Federal Leadership Development Council

Fundraising

The Federal Leadership Development Council was instituted in order to equip younger generations of federal employees with resources needed to succeed in the federal government and to be prepared to fill the void once the multitudes of the Baby Boomer generation retire.

The members of the Council have agreed that there is a mutual need for training in various areas of federal government from job placement concerns to interagency education. In order to provide members with these resources there have been suggestions about future fundraising initiatives that can serve to create a fund for scholarships that will be used to provide Council members with the training they require.

Ray Morris, Executive Director of the Federal Executive Board of Minnesota, the agency behind the Federal Leadership Development Council, has offered to begin the fundraising effort with a generous donation that will jump-start the Silent Auction later this fall. As the Auction approaches, it is imperative that members join in the effort to raise funds by creating themed gift baskets with quality items that were proviously-owned or generously donated, and can be sold for 100% profit.

In the future, this website will be used to display available funds and the scholarship opportunities for which Council members will be able to apply.
