The spotlight on this weekend's Super Bowl XLIX in Phoenix, Ariz., is going to be big in so many ways. Visitors to the Grand Canyon State have an excellent opportunity to engage in a variety of sporting and entertainment events while in Phoenix. The Bureau of Land Management also has a Super Bowl presence and is working to highlight America's wild wonders, also known as our National Conservation Lands.

BLM fans are encouraged to join Arizona, in person or through the virtual world of social media, to #SeeBLM and Explore, Discover and Escape to these beautiful and unique public lands.

If you are planning to be a part of the weekend festivities in Phoenix, stop in and visit your BLM Arizona family in the BLM National Conservation Lands Showcase, located in the heart of downtown Phoenix at Super Bowl XLIX Central. While there, you can get information on what public lands you'd like to visit next and take selfies with Seymour Antelope in front of the magnificent photo backdrops on display.

If you're looking to get out and hit the trail just outside of metropolitan Phoenix, BLM Arizona has several opportunities for you. For example, you can hike, mountain bike, or equestrian ride on the Black Canyon Trail. Or perhaps you'd prefer to slow things down and take a leisurely self-guided hike on the BLM-managed Agua Fria National Monument, where you can see the remnants of a prehistoric Native American pueblo called Pueblo La Plata or meander on two guided hikes along the Agua Fria River riparian area.
