Saturday, September 27, is National Public Lands Day! It is the Nation's special day dedicated to getting people out to play, learn, serve, and work on our public lands. Projects are being planned all across the country, from Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge in California to Gateway National Recreation Area in New York.

Thank you to those of you who are hosting Public Lands Day events. There is something for everyone to do and plenty of ways to participate. If you are looking for something to do on National Public Lands Day, visit their website.
