Subject: 70th Departmental Honor Awards

The 70th Departmental Honor Awards Convocation will be held May 7, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. in the Bison Bistro at the Stewart Lee Udall Department of the Interior Building (Main Interior). All employees in the Washington, D.C., Metro Area are encouraged to attend to honor DOI employees who will receive the highest awards given by the Department. In addition, the ceremony will be live-streamed on the DOI website starting at 2:30 p.m. ET, May 7, 2015, at: http://www.doi.gov/news/video/live.cfm.

The awards to be presented are:

  • Safety and Health Award of Excellence
  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Citizen's Award for Bravery
  • Valor Award

Any questions regarding the ceremony should be directed to your servicing Human Resources Office.

Recognizes individuals or groups of DOI employees who have performed outstanding services for or made contributions of unusual value to the occupational health and safety of DOI employees, visitors, and volunteers.
