SW CSC Stakeholder Advisory Committee




horseshoebend-susan buto usgsThe scientific priorities of the Southwest CSC are driven by the needs and priorities of the natural and cultural resource management communities in the Southwest region.

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) for the Southwest CSC includes representatives from those Landscape Conservation Cooperatives with all or a majority of their area within the Southwest region, as well as other management and science partners in the region.

The SAC meets annually to approve the Southwest CSC Science Agenda and provide guidance to the SW CSC on meeting the climate science needs of resource managers.
 
The Stakeholder Advisory Committee is made up of representatives of the following agencies:

U.S. Department of the Interior
Bureau of Reclamation
National Park Service
Fish and Wildlife Service
Bureau of Land Management
Bureau of Indian Affairs
US Geological Survey

U.S. Department of Agriculture
Forest Service -- R&D
Forest Service – NFS

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Department of Defense (possible)
