New Southeast Global Change Monitoring Portal Available
The new Southeast Global Change Monitoring Portal (GCMP) provides a centralized, comprehensive catalog of observational networks associated with aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in the southeastern United States that may be influenced by climate change. The GCMP is in the first phase of development and is being actively populated with new program and site information.
The GCMP was developed as part of the Southeast Climate Science Center (SE CSC) research project, "Assessment of Terrestrial and Aquatic Monitoring Programs in the Southeastern United States", which aims to support the efforts of multiple federal, state, and other organizations in the development of a comprehensive and integrated assessment of monitoring programs associated with atmospheric, stream, and terrestrial ecosystems.
