The annual Climate Prediction Applications Science Workshop
(CPASW), initiated in 2002 by the NOAA National Weather Service Climate Services Division, brings together a diverse group of climate researchers, climate product producers, and users to share developments in research and applications of climate predictions for societal decision-making.
In 2013, the 11th Annual CPASW will convene in Logan, Utah, and focus on “Climate Information for Natural Resource Management.” Our South Central Climate Science Center Research Director, Renee McPherson will be giving two presentations:
1.) Analysis of Teleconnections and Drought for the Arbuckle Simpson Aquifer, and
2.) Partnering with American Indian Tribes in the South Central U.S. on Climate Science and Services.
