The Llano River Field Station at the Texas Tech University Center in Junction is now generating electricity for two buildings on the Junction Campus. This project is unique in that it involves both solar and wind energy generation at the same location. Not only will the initiative provide practical environmental benefits, it will also integrate into new hands-on renewable energy and conservation curriculum for students.
