AK CSC Project Researcher Featured in Weather Channel Series, "Tipping Points"

University of Alaska Fairbanks Professor, Vladimir Romanovsky, is featured in the new Weather Channel Series, "Tipping Points". Dr. Romanovsky is a lead researcher for the AK CSC Integrated Ecosystem Model Project.

The video discusses "permafrost", frozen ground that's been preserved in a relatively undisturbed state. The video also discusses the enormous problems that may arise from melting permafrost as the Earth's temperature warms due to climate change.
