AK CSC Director Travels to the Pacific Islands to Present "Linking Climate Impacts Science and Resource Management: Examples from the Last Frontier"
Dr. Steve Gray, Alaska Climate Science Center Director, will travel to The University of Hawaii at Manoa and at Hilo to give seminars on "Linking Climate Impacts Science and Resource Management: Examples from the Last Frontier".

Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the Kuykendall Auditorium, University of Hawaii, Manoa (hosted by the Pacific Islands Climate Science Center).
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the USDA Forest Service, Institute of Pacific Islands Forestry, 60 Nowelo St., Hilo.
In these seminars, Dr. Gray will give an update on the implementation and growth of the programs at the AK CSC. The presentation will focus on how we might apply “lessons learned” in the Alaska CSC region in a broader resource management context. The talks will also discuss ways in which partnerships among agencies, university researchers and stakeholders can help us weather budget uncertainties, while also maximizing the effectiveness of our collective climate-change response efforts.”
