Details: Whether you're a Tribal Leader, Landowner, or other key stakeholder, you might have some questions about the Buy-Back Program's implementation plan, such as, "How will my land be appraised?", or "What's the process of selling land?" To help address these topics, The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) is hosting a two-part series of online discussions with representatives from the Department of the Interior's Land Buy-Back Program for Tribal Nations.

Part one of this webinar series will examine the Buy-Back Program's Land Valuation process, covering topics such as how property value is determined on fractionated lands and how those appraisals will be conducted. So whether you're just wondering, "What is fair market value?" or curious about how owning land with minerals and timber will impact the appraisal process, this discussion will help describe how your land will be appraised and give you the opportunity to ask questions.
