On Saturday, September 9, the President received and approved a report on the wildland fire program from the Secretaries of Agriculture and Interior. The report was prepared in response to the critical western fire season this year. It is available on the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ). The table below shows the funding recommendations for the Department of the Interior from that report.
