| The assistive technology featured in the Center will be used to educate DOI employees and supervisors regarding accessibility issues with technology and the solutions available to address them.
In addition to discussions on Federal regulations, such as Executive Order 13164 directing federal agencies to establish effective written procedures for processing requests for reasonable accommodation, New Departmental Manual Chapter 373 DM 15, Reasonable Accommodation for Individuals with Disabilities, Center staff will seek to educate members of the DOI community through a combination of experiential learning and interactive participation.
