| Evaluation and Testing of Assistive Technology and Ergonomic Equipment |
| The DOI ATC will have a crucial role in the selection, evaluation and recommendation of assistive technology for DOI employees. The Center will afford employees the opportunity to view and evaluate assistive technology that is suitable for their unique requirements, prior to the actual purchase of the product.
Employees who have had the opportunity to evaluate and test the accommodation will be more comfortable and productive in utilizing the technology at their own workstations, and will be less likely to determine that the accommodation is not suitable for them after it has already been purchased.
