The Interagency Working Group on Coordination of Domestic Energy Development and Permitting in Alaska is focusing on four areas for coordinating federal efforts around renewable energy in Alaska. They are:
- Rural development of renewable energy
- Biomass
- Hydropower
- Federal facilities
